Ice Fishing Packages - Great Winter Fun!!
Ice fishing is a wonderful Maine
tradition, and our Lake is one of the best Pike fishing in the State of
Maine. JackTraps (www.jacktraps.com) is right here in our town and can
outfit you for the Ice fishing adventure of your life!
On an average winter weekend, there are
hundreds of fisherman socializing, and continuing Maine's tradition of enjoying
the out of doors in all weather. We are one mile from the boat launch with
parking available at our own site or at the launch. We are amongst ski
mobile trails and we can boast of some of the most beautiful scenery
around.
We will provide you with an overnight stay,
hearty home made soup in your thermos with our own fresh bread for
your daytime fishing adventure.
Sit by the fire, and "show and tell" or "bring
and brag" or tell us your fish stories. We'll listen!
Two
night stay, full breakfast, soup and bread each day,
snowmobile parking, $190.00 plus tax.
Winter Fun: Sledding, local museums, farms
and fun:
We are on a hill with great sledding.
We are a mile from the lake for great skating. We work with Jack's Traps
so people can be set up for an ice fishing adventure. Our fiber arts farm
offers tours re: shearing, spinning and dying yarns. We can arrange a
'work on a farm' day for you and your family. We can find out where the
dog sleds are active. You can go and watch ice fishing or join right in.
Two night stay, full breakfast, and
arrangements made for local activities, hot soup and fresh bread on your return
from your winter activity. $190 plus tax, dbl occupancy.
Soak in the hot tub, under the stars, and find a sense of
quiet peace before bedtime.
